"Hey there, I’m Ramona Lee, CEO/President of Real Heart Nonprofit, based right here in Minneapolis, MN. Our mission is clear: we’re all about helping out young adults and folks aged 17 to 35 in our community who might be facing tough times. Real Heart is here to give you the tools you need to thrive – whether it’s through mentorship, education, or just a shoulder to lean on.

My journey to this role wasn’t easy. Growing up, I faced a lot of challenges – addiction in the family, homelessness, you name it. But I didn’t let that stop me. After becoming a parent at a young age and going through some really rough patches, I knew I had to make a change – not just for me, but for my kids too.

That’s why I’m so passionate about Real Heart. I’ve been there, done that, and now I’m all about paying it forward. I know firsthand how crucial it is to have someone in your corner, cheering you on and helping you find your way. And that’s exactly what we’re here for – to be that support system for anyone who needs it.
